2016-2017 School Board Members

 
 Liz Heyer - Acting Board Chair/Community board member. Liz is the Upper Midwest Area Manager for Data Recognition Corporation, an educational service organization. She received her undergraduate degree from Sonoma State University and master's degree in Education from Mills College in Oakland, CA. She has extensive experience teaching and managing programs for students who struggle academically. "I am committed to the mission of Watershed and have a special place in my heart for the students that attend," said Liz. Seven years ago, she moved to Minnesota from the Golden State (CA) and currently lives with her partner and their young son in Plymouth.

 Jason Kinsley - Secretary/Teacher board member. Jason was educated in sculpture at the University of Iowa and curriculum/instruction at the University of St. Thomas. This is Jason's 10th year of teaching. In his spare time, he enjoys writing, art history, and boxing.

   Alan Stellpflug - Teacher board member.  Alan is in his fourth year at Watershed as a science teacher. He has a B.Sci in Chemistry from UW-LaCrosse. He comes to Watershed as a second career after working for Genentech, a large Biotech company in California, for 15 years as a computer professional.

  Donna Mosley - Treasurer/Parent board member.  Donna is the IT Project Manager for the Masonic Cancer Center's Informatics Group at the University of Minnesota. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and her Project Management Professional Certification from the Project Management Institute. She has experience with Strategic Planning and Program Management and looks forward to helping Watershed refine their vision and work to bring it to fruition.

 Amie Garretson - Parent board member.  Amie has enjoyed over 18 years of being in the service to many schools within each community she has resided.  Amie has served an elected position as a School Site Council member, as a co-chair of a PTA committee, a liaison to various successful school fundraising efforts and has most of all enjoyed the opportunity to work with children within the classroom and spending valuable time with struggling readers outside of the classroom.  Her passion and advocacy for the welfare of all children keeps Amie involved and informed of the needs facing students of a non-traditional profile.
